The Society is pleased to announce that Sarah Gazan has been appointed Director – Professional Status of The Manitoba Teachers’ Society.
Sarah is currently on secondment with the Government of Manitoba, serving as Director of the Indigenous Excellence and Education Division. She previously held roles with MTS in both Professional French Language Services (PFLS) and Teacher Welfare (TW), where she supported members through committee work, training, negotiations, and personnel matters.
Sarah brings a strong commitment to education and equity. We look forward to the expertise and leadership she’ll bring to this new role. She officially begins on September 22, 2025.
