Retired teachers can now return to the classroom for more than 120 days with no negative impact to their pension benefits.

Recognizing the important role of retired teachers in ensuring the sustainability of public education during the pandemic, the province has suspended the limit on the number of days that retired teachers can work without impact to their pension benefits.
