Session Descriptions

Keynote Speaker: Ainsley Krone
9:00 am - 10:00 am

The Manitoba Advocate for Children and Youth (MACY) exists to make sure that the voices of young people are heard. They make sure that their rights are respected and that they have a say in decisions that affect their lives. MACY advocates for young people, investigate situations in their lives and reviews public services in Manitoba to ensure that they are meeting the needs of children, youth, and young adults. Join Ainsley Krone from The Manitoba Advocate for Children and Youth as she discusses the important role that teachers have in Student Mental Health.

Presenters: We have set up this year’s conference so that most sessions are repeated in the first and second-time slots. This gives you more ability to sit in on what speaks to you. There are two trade-of-hairstyling-specific sessions that are not repeated.
