FULL - A01 - Authentic Learning in the FCC Classroom
Come and learn how to make French Communication and Culture learning authentic and fun. Learn ways to integrate activities, culture and history into you FCC classroom that allows for learning to be cross curricular and interactive.

FULL - A02 - Incorporating Indigenous Perspectives into French Learning
Engage in an exiting session that integrates social studies, art and French through a cross-curricular exploration of the art of bead working with the French laguage. Hands-on learning activities that incorporate Indigenous and French clutures will also be provided. This session is designed to allow learners to create beautiful pieces of bead work, art work and assignments that begin to bridge the gap and represent the cultural significance of art. Bead-working is a skill that students from all grades can learn and be successful. This will be presented as a that unit can be taught to multiple grade levels while achieving Manitoba curriculum expections for multiple subject areas.

This session will show teachers how to navigate the free DREF website and how to access resources to help during these specialized times of learning for FCC educators. Follow along to discover complete lessons and unit plans with supplementary online resources that can be shared with your students. Digital resources and tangible resources will be shared that are available for free for all teachers and students to sign out and access online.
