Virtual Insanity: Setting up your virtual dance studio
Tuesday, Sept. 22nd, 4:00-5:00 PM
In this workshop Maribeth "Kilusan" Tabanera will share with you how to set up a virtual dance studio for your classroom needs. Brain Dance 101
Tuesday, Sept. 29th, 4:00-5:00 PM
Sarah Roche will guide participants through Anne Green Gilbert’s Brain Dance, a sequential warm-up based on developmental patterns that help students connect both sides of the brain and body. Brain Dance is an excellent warm-up or whole class exploration that can be done in limited space. It can be adapted for all levels and genres and is an excellent tool not only for dance, but music and phys.ed teachers.

Virtual Performance
Tuesday, Oct. 20th, 4:00-5:00 PM
This year will challenge educators to come up with new creative ways to provide performance opportunities. Participants will be guided through an example of what a virtual performance may look like as well as provide talk time for sharing ideas and other possible performance models.

Spotlight on all Wings
Tuesday, Nov.24th, 4:00-5:00 PM
A panel discussion and sharing of ideas of highlighting the Creating, Responding, and Connecting wings of the Manitoba Dance Curriculum. Now, more than ever, educators are needing to access inquiry projects, flipped classroom experiences and perhaps more emphasis on other areas of the curriculum than in the past. This session will offer some concrete ideas and provide educators a space to share resources.
