Labour Day March and Picnic, Sept. 4

Join your MTS colleagues and other union brothers and sisters as we meet at Memorial Park, walk to Vimy Ridge Park and cap it all off with a FREE community BBQ. This inspiring event is hosted by our friends at the Winnipeg Labour Council. Bring your union pride, friends and family. We’ll bring the MTS flags and banners. There will be face painting and bouncy castles for kids at Vimy Ridge Park, followed by a BBQ and entertainment.

Here’s the scoop!

12:00 p.m. Meet at Memorial Park across from the Manitoba Legislature.

12:30 p.m. March to Vimy Ridge Park on Portage Avenue. Meet cool new friends, enjoy the face-painting, bouncy castles, etc.

1:30 p.m. Stay for the BBQ.
