MTS cares deeply about the safety, dignity, and inclusion of all members, including our Jewish colleagues.

Our contribution to Education International’s Solidarity Fund is a humanitarian action that reflects our established organizational goals to “address broad societal issues that promote social justice, cooperation, and understanding.”

This donation supports teachers—through their unions—who are working to rebuild disrupted education systems. It is administered by Education International, our global partner, not by governments or political groups.

This donation is rooted in our longstanding belief that education is a pathway to peace.

Supporting teachers facing crisis does not equate to endorsing any government, curriculum, or ideology.

We understand that members hold a range of perspectives, and we respect the right to express concerns.
Member safety, inclusion, human rights and social justice remain central to our work—and we will continue to uphold those values for all.

The Manitoba Teachers’ Society is committed to eradicating hate in all its forms, including antisemitism.
