School professionals are helping support students everyday with extremely complex issues, behaviours and emotional needs. This day of learning will take a deeper dive into case scenarios to provide consultation, using skills from DBT, ACT, and other transdiagnostic tools. This workshop can help practitioners increase their toolbox for managing in the moment crisis and longer-term intervention plans. Case scenarios could include conversations about: challenges like self-harm and suicidal ideation; supporting youth who are 2SLGBTQ+ or neurodivergent; exploring the overlap in experiences across some of these issues, and more.
