{"id":3562,"date":"2026-01-16T14:55:28","date_gmt":"2026-01-16T20:55:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mbteach.org\/mtscms\/?p=3562"},"modified":"2026-01-16T15:12:41","modified_gmt":"2026-01-16T21:12:41","slug":"changes-to-the-teacher-registry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mbteach.org\/mtscms\/index.php\/2026\/01\/16\/changes-to-the-teacher-registry\/","title":{"rendered":"Changes to the Teacher Registry"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Teachers or clinicians who voluntarily surrender their certificate while a case is under review by the Commissioner of Teacher Professional Conduct or the Certificate Review Committee will now be listed as \u201cGood standing \u2013 voluntarily surrendered\u201d instead of just \u201cGood standing in the registry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, teachers and clinicians who voluntarily surrendered their certificates during proceedings were listed in the registry as \u201cGood standing.\u201d Under the new regulation, this designation has been updated to \u201cGood standing \u2013 voluntarily surrendered\u201d to more accurately reflect the certificate\u2019s status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This designation will appear in individual certification searches and will be removed once the condition no longer applies.
