{"id":2611,"date":"2025-09-23T13:39:00","date_gmt":"2025-09-23T19:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mbteach.org\/mtscms\/?p=2611"},"modified":"2025-09-24T08:13:51","modified_gmt":"2025-09-24T14:13:51","slug":"provincial-bargaining-committee-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mbteach.org\/mtscms\/index.php\/2025\/09\/23\/provincial-bargaining-committee-opportunity\/","title":{"rendered":"Provincial Bargaining Committee Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:600\">Call for Nominations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are five (5) positions for Members of the Provincial Bargaining Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nominations for the Provincial Bargaining Committee are governed by the Provincial Bargaining Protocol of The Manitoba Teachers\u2019 Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nominations are open to <strong><u>all<\/u><\/strong> MTS members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Candidates for election to the Provincial Bargaining Committee shall submit to the Executive Director:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a nomination form with signatures of fifteen (15) Active Members in Good Standing; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a written response to the Candidate Questionnaire in electronic format.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To request a nomination form and Candidate Questionnaire, please contact <strong><em><a href=\"mailto:governance@mbteach.org\">governance@mbteach.org<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Completed nomination forms and Candidate Questionnaires must be forwarded to the attention of the Executive Director by email at <strong><em><a href=\"mailto:governance@mbteach.org\">governance@mbteach.org<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, <strong>no later than 8:00 a.m. on September 29, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Executive Assistants by email at <strong><em><a href=\"mailto:governance@mbteach.org\">governance@mbteach.org<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are five (5) positions for Members of the Provincial Bargaining Committee.
