Make an impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MTS Committees and Working Groups bring members together to take action on the issues that matter most to teachers across Manitoba. For the 2026-2027 term, members will have the opportunity to contribute to eight key areas of focus that support and strengthen the profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each Working Group is made up of eight members serving a two-year term, working alongside MTS staff and members of the Provincial Executive. Together, these teams collaborate on meaningful initiatives, outreach, and advocacy efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Working Groups include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Education Funding Working Group<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Protecting Public Education Working Group<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Addressing Violence in the Workplace Working Group<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Member Well-Being Working Group<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Countering Hate Working Group<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Truth and Reconciliation Working Group<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting the Profession Working Group<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practicing the Profession Working Group<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following Committees will continue for 2026-2027:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collective Bargaining Committee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disability Benefits Plan Committee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disability Benefits Plan Investment Committee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disability Benefits Plan Case Management Committee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Group Benefits Committee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Circle of Indigenous Educators, Elders and Knowledge Keepers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MTS Awards Committee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community and Stakeholder Relations Representation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional Conduct Committee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review Committee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take part in shaping the Society\u2019s work and strengthening the collective voice of the profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ready to make a difference?
