Audacity, Imagination and Advocacy: Black History Month Resources for Manitoba Educators<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is a wide variety of resources available to help educators bring Black History Month to life. Here are just a few of many that highlight the history, struggle, and power of being Black in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Black Life: Untold Stories<\/strong> is an eight-part documentary series that reframes the rich and complex histories of Black experiences in Canada. The trailer<\/a><\/em><\/strong> provides an excellent overview of the series\u2019 content. Find the full list of episodes here<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Being Black on the Prairies<\/strong> is the history of Black Canadians in central Canada was chronicled by the CBC in its series \u2018Being Black on the Prairies<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are also many excellent resources that cover the contributions and trailblazing innovations of Black Canadians in a wide variety of fields, including politics, sport and the arts.
