Teachers\u2019 Retirement Allowances Fund<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Teachers\u2019 Retirement Allowances Fund (TRAF) is the pension plan for all public school teachers in Manitoba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TRAF is governed by a seven-person board of directors, on which The Manitoba Teachers\u2019 Society has three representatives. Other board members are appointed by the provincial government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pre-Retirement Seminars<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are age 48 or older, you will receive an invitation from either The Manitoba Teachers\u2019 Society or your local association to attend a Pre-retirement Seminar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Follow instructions on the letter to log in. Once logged in you will be shown the seminars that are available to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you would like to discuss your pension with a TRAF Member Service Specialist, you may book an appointment in conjunction with certain Pre-retirement Seminars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make sure you book your seminar and\/or appointment as soon as possible, as space is limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
