FrontRunners Pride Run

Winnipeg Frontrunners is proud to organize the 2018 Pride Run – a fun, non-competitive running or walking event open to all members of the LGBTTQ* community and their supporters. Our fourth annual event takes place at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 2nd, 2018. The run starts and ends at the Forks festival site in the heart of Winnipeg. This year we’re excited to offer a 3K walk in addition to our 5K and 10K options!

Winnipeg Pride Parade & Festival
Sunday, June 3, 2018
Rally 10:00 a.m. Parade 11:00 a.m.

The Winnipeg Pride Parade and Rally will take place on Sunday, June 3, 2018 and kick off with a rally on the steps of the Legislature followed by the Parade starting nearby on Memorial Boulevard, turning right on York, then right again on Fort. Our MTS Pride Festival tent at the Forks will offer face-painting for children 12 and under.

Brandon Pride Parade & Festival
Saturday, June 16, 2018
Rally 11:00 a.m. March 11:30 a.m.

Come join us on Saturday, June 16th for the Brandon Pride March and Festival!! The full day celebration will kick off at City Hall for the Pride Rally at 11:00 a.m. and then we will hit the streets for the Pride March at 11:30 a.m. Bring your friends and dance in the streets with us all the way to the Pride Festival at Stanley Park at 1410 Princess Avenue.

Portage Pride Parade
Saturday, July 7, 2018
10 a.m.

Steinbach Pride Parade
Saturday, July 21, 2018
11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Starting place will be at the K.R. Barkman Park and the walk will end at Steinbach City Hall. A parade time has not yet been officially set, but in past years it has been 11 am.

Flin Flon Pride
August 17 – 18, 2018
(Time TBA)

Parades/walks have also been announced for Thompson and Dauphin with details to come. More information on the respective Facebook pages for the above events.

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU HAVE A “PROUD MANITOBA TEACHER” SHIRT FROM LAST YEAR, PLEASE WEAR IT. We will bring a limited supply for teachers who do not yet have one.
