Hundreds of public school teachers made themselves seen and heard across the province this summer at events sponsored or supported by MTS.
Three pride parades – in Winnipeg, Steinbach and Brandon – were attended by scores of MTS members showing support for equality and diversity.
Teachers spent parts of their summer having fun with kids in the MTS tents at the Teddy Bears’ Picnic in Winnipeg and the Winnipeg Folk Festival in Birds Hill Park.
We also set up in The Forks during Aboriginal Days and at an event announcing sponsors for next year’s Canada Summer Games in Winnipeg.
