The Manitoba Teacher is the newsmagazine of The Manitoba Teachers' Society, the professional and collective bargaining representative for the province's 15,000 public school teachers.

The Teacher is published seven times a year (September–June) by the publications department of MTS.
It has a circulation of 17,500.

Issue dates: September, October/November, December, January/February, March, April/May, and June.

While the voice of The Manitoba Teachers' Society, The Teacher is also a forum for varying views and opinions on public education.

Articles and views published in The Teacher either in print or online do not necessarily represent the views of the Society.
