Early Intervention Program

Early Intervention is a program directed at members who are working and experiencing significant physical or mental stressors that have the potential of resulting in sick leave and ultimately a disability claim.

The Early Intervention program is a collaborative initiative between the Disability Plan, the school division, MTS Educator Assistance Program and the local association, focused at identifying individuals experiencing work place and/or personal health stressors.

The program focuses at intervention with these individuals and provides appropriate rehabilitation and other supports. The goal is to keep members at work and ultimately prevent a disability claim.
