About The Manitoba Teacher

The Manitoba Teacher is the newsmagazine of The Manitoba Teachers' Society, the professional and collective bargaining representative for the province's 15,000 public school teachers.

The print edition is published seven times a year (September - June) by the publications department ofMTS. The online edition carries most of the articles of the print publication plus added material.

While the voice of The Manitoba Teachers' Society, The Teacher is also a forum for varying views and opinions on public education. Articles and views published in The Teacher either in print or online do not necessarily represent the views of the Society.
